6/24 11:03 am: After teaching an early morning yoga class and chatting with students, I headed over to Starbuck's here in downtown Ft. Lauderdale to access the web and check my email.  What a nice surprise to find a group note from my gals from my Bikram Yoga Teacher Training!  They would take such good care of me, on those eve's post Bikram lecture, when there was still so much dialogue to learn!!  Jen and I would study in the van and then head to her place to snack on cheese and crackers drink tea with the girls.  I'm so glad we've kept in touch and I look forward to many years of life and yoga together. Jen is "with child", (Not mine! We were actually studying in the van and her husband is my frend), and we all can't wait to meet her baby boy to be!
I've been saying goodbye to students this week and will packing up to head north on Sunday.  I've made some wonderful friend between here, West Palm Beach and Stuart, FL and I look forward to returning on a regular basis to teach and hopefully play music with the guys.

The future is wide open and I can see three definites on the horizon: Family, Music and Yoga.  That's enough.  All I really need to be happy.
  Namaste.
6/29
11:50 pm:  I made the drive up from Florida in two days or so after leaving late Sunday 7/27 afternoon.  I stopped off at the West Palm Beach studio and after a quick detour to my buddy David's house (to discuss women, yoga, money and rock 'n roll) I made my way up the east coast.  I stopped late Sunday morning somewher in lower S. Carolina...  woke up and did about an hour of "cold hotel room yoga" and got back in my car and started driving.  After another 8 hours or so I tried to find a hotel roomin NJ and couldn't find anything for less that $60.  Now I could afford the $60 but I only needed to sleep for 4 or 5 hours!  So I opted for the comfort of my car in an NJ Turnpike rest stop.  It's totally safe if you park near where the truckers sleep.  Well, it may be safe, but it sure ain't good for your back!  I predict it will take 3-4 months of yoga to straighten this one out!  My back is a mess after this drive.  NEVER AGAIN!!  Even better?  I'm off to Monterey to play Pebble Beach and Spanish Bay 7/2 to 7/6!  I can barely walk and I'm scheduled to play two of the most beautiful and difficult golf courses in the world!  The good news is, we usually drink a lot of scotch.  I'll hit it with scotch first and then hit it with yoga when I return!
